Main Challenges
  • Very specific tech stack requirement profile
    All three roles required in-depth knowledge of specific tools and technologies such as C++, Bash, ClickHouse or GitLab CI/CD - in some cases in combination with a basic understanding of networking, which significantly limited the candidate pool.
  • Remote roles with regional preference
    Although 100% remote was possible, there was also a desire for candidates from the Berlin area to facilitate occasional face-to-face meetings - an additional level of complexity in sourcing.

    In addition to technical aptitude, there was a particular focus on willingness to learn, team fit and strong communication skills - soft skills that are difficult to identify via CVs or job portals.
